TOMY: The Only Mac YAMJ GUI / Re: Two Point Oh
« Last post by Temujin on April 29, 2012, 07:52:51 pm »
Auggie: have you been able to dedicate any time into Two Point OH lately? I know a lot of people (myself included of course) are eagerly anticipating it.
The screenshots you've shown here and there and the comments about what you're putting into sound awesome, I can only imagine how much work it it is.
Just wanted to pop in and see how you were doing with it.
Thanks!
PS: I probably wouldn't have my YAMJ up and running if it wasn't for TOMY so hats off to you for the original TOMY which suits me just fine right now :)

TOMY: The Only Mac YAMJ GUI / Re: TOMY do not remember previous settings

I've been trying to build a way into TOMY to allow Windows users to easily delete its preference file.  On the Mac side, the user just has to hold the OPTION key down while launching TOMY and it will ask if they want to delete the preference file.

Unfortunately, the Windows side of the compiler does not allow me to intercept the modifier keys easily, but once TOMY has already loaded it's preference file, it's not so easy to delete it and "restart" TOMY...

Hmmm.  I may just intercept a "regular" key press, like may the letter "p"...

Fixed!

I deleted the file and then let TOMY to recreate it. Now everything is fine. Thank you mate!

Try moving the preference file out of that location and relaunch TOMY.  It should create a new preference file then change settings, exit then relaunch again to see if the settings take hold.

General Discussion / Re: Future support for C-300?

Yes, both the A and C recognition have been added in the next version.

Just keep in mind that both only support Flash based jukeboxes presently, which is why TWO point OH also provides full and complete support for Eversion.

I know, i was going crazy all night long till it make it work at my NFS NAS...

Previously, others reported file permissions issues under Win7 x64 when TOMY tried saving its preferences, but it only saves its preferences when you exit TOMY.  Unfortunately, there may be no warning if the preferences file is not saved correctly.

Under Windows desktop Explorer, see if you can locate TOMY's preference file under /Users/{yourlogin}/AppData/Roaming/TOMY/TOMY.plist

OS is in Italian and the cosole log is blank and does not show any error.
I mean, when I start TOMY and skip the wizard everything is like I started the application for the very first time (blank console log), no settings are kept from the previous start even if I saved them during last run.
Then I manually browse YAMJ folder (C:/YAMJ), TOMY takes automatically my library (C:\YAMJ\My_Library.xml) and Path (\\\\A210\share\Media\), set offline mode (faster), I set the player.

Here an esample of console log (I do not put all because the process is accomplished correctly):
